Fractional Leadership
Community-serving organizations carry real operational complexity. Often without the RESOURCES OR infrastructure to match it.
A Fractional Chief Operating Officer integrates directly into your organization advising from the inside. An operational leader embedded in the team managing systems, holding big-picture goals, and building the infrastructure that lets your organization actually deliver.
Currently offering Fractional Chief Operating Officer engagements.

A senior operational leader working inside your organization on a part-time basis attending leadership meetings, owning critical functions, making real decisions alongside your team.
This is not project-based consulting. It is an embedded operational relationship, scaled to the hours and scope you actually need.
Engagements begin with a three month trial retainer with a pre-agreed scope.

We start with a scoping conversation first. No intake forms, no sales process. An honest look at where your organization is and what would actually help.
From there we agree on scope, hours, and a three month trial retainer. Then we build toward creating independent stability for you from the first conversation. Every system we build and every person we train is designed to function without us.
-
Documented systems and processes that outlast any one person
Staff trained and capable of sustaining the work
Financial operations that are clear, compliant, and functional
Operational infrastructure built for the complexity you actually carry

How many hours per month does this involve?
It depends on your needs. We scope engagements collaboratively. Some organizations need 10 hours a month, others need 40.
Will this conflict with our existing staff?
No. Fractional Leadership support integrates alongside your team, not above or around them.
Can we fund this through a grant?
Often yes. Fractional Leadership engagements frequently qualify as capacity building. We can help you make that case to funders.
What if it isn't working?
The three month trial exists precisely for this. We evaluate together at the end of the trial period.
