Our Story
Patterns shaped through history, different pressures, and people adapting to meet real needs. Over time these systems begin to fail and rarely for the reasons that appear on the surface.
Most organizations aren't broken, they're complex.
The tools most organizations reach for when things get hard weren't built for the kind of complexity they're actually living in. The frameworks don't quite fit. The change efforts don't hold. The same problems resurface in different forms.
Repose Group was built specifically for that gap. To create the frameworks that were missing and support the work that actually moves organizations forward.
Meet the Founder
Catherine Vogel spent 20+ years inside complex organizations managing what most people never see, controller-level financial operations across multi-program environments, capital projects through crisis, compliance frameworks, board governance, staff training, and the operational infrastructure that lets organizations actually deliver on their mission.
She built operations manuals and training systems in nearly every role she held. Sustainable work has to outlast any one person.
Trained in natural systems science, she brought a geologist's eye to every organization she entered, reading what a system was actually doing underneath the surface before deciding what to build.
Repose Group is what emerged when that experience met the tools that didn't yet exist.
Who we work with
We work with community-serving organizations navigating funding uncertainty or leadership transition. Mission-driven small businesses feeling the friction of growth. Startups building infrastructure with a long view of what their community needs.
What they share isn't size or structure. It's orientation toward resilience, toward the people they serve, toward work that should outlast change outside their control.
