Fractional Leadership
Community-serving organizations carry real operational complexity. Often without the RESOURCES OR infrastructure to match it.
A fractional position integrates directly into your organization advising from the inside. An operational leader embedded in the team managing systems, holding big-picture goals, and building the infrastructure that lets your organization actually deliver.

-
A senior operational leader working inside your organization on a part-time basis attending leadership meetings, owning critical functions, and making real decisions alongside your team.
This is not project-based consulting. It is an embedded operational relationship, scaled to the hours and scope you actually need.
Engagements begin with a commitment free conversation where we take an honest look at where your organization is and what would actually help.

We start with a scoping conversation to take a look at where your organization is and what would actually help.
From there we have two paths:
The Repose Assessment
A 4 to 6 week structured discovery and planning engagement. We map your systems, identify the underlying patterns keeping you stuck, and deliver a prioritized action plan with clear next steps. Flat fee, defined scope, tangible deliverables. A natural on-ramp to fractional leadership for organizations that want to move forward together.
Fractional Leadership Retainer
For organizations ready to engage directly. We agree on scope, hours, and a monthly retainer and get to work immediately. From the first conversation every system we develop is designed to function without us. The goal is your independence, not your dependency.
-
At every stage of engagement we provide generative ideas and useable solutions.
Fractional leadership with Repose Group is not a permanent arrangement. It's a deliberate arc. We move through three natural phases:
Understanding and stabilizing system
Building for resiliency within
Stepping back as your capacity grows
The engagement ends when you no longer need us, and that's exactly the point. Some organizations move through this in six months. Others take longer. The pace is determined by your complexity and your readiness.

-
Regardless of which path you take or how long we work together, you leave with:
A mapped understanding of the patterns and systems that shape how your organization operates
Leadership and staff who think more clearly about complexity and can navigate it without outside help
Operational and strategic infrastructure built to last beyond any single person or engagement
A prioritized roadmap you own completely
The capacity to ask better questions than you could before we started
-
How many hours per month does this involve?
It depends on your needs. We scope engagements collaboratively. Some organizations need 10 hours a month, others need 40.
Will this conflict with our existing staff?
No. Fractional Leadership support integrates alongside your team, not above or around them.
Can we fund this through a grant?
Often yes. Fractional Leadership engagements frequently qualify as capacity building. We can help you make that case to funders.
What if it isn't working?
We start with a three month minimum trial and then quarterly check-ins because we understand that things take time and change happens.
patterns don't have to keep you stuck.
